Russell Sher has been sailing for about 30 years on various types of boats inland and offshore. He holds the RYA and SAS Yachtmaster Ocean qualification as well as the SAMSA Yachtmaster qualification. He is currently senior examiner (Southern Regions) for S.A. Sailing. Russell is an electronics engineer.
