First, a big thanks to you, Alex and Melvin. I had a great time in Cape town. I've really enjoyed the training.
It was a nice crew, very patient and dedicated instructors and well kept boats.
I liked to have the chance to sail on both Mykonos and Cap town. It is a really good idea to alternate.

Thank you for your mail. A friend of Andreas's has lend us her sextant so that we will take our sights on our passage to Sweden. We should be well prepared to take the exams when we arrive back in Cape Town.

We both feel priviledged to have been instructed by Henton and to gain from his immense expertise. We had heard so much about him previously and it was a pleasure attending his class.

Thanks for your message and I may I wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I had a really interesting and useful weeks sail training last week with Alex, who must be the most patient and able instructor in the country! We encountered all different types of conditions at Saldanha including fog (in the summer) both morning and afternoons and also flew a spinnaker. The guys on board were a very pleasant bunch. I was awarded my Day Skippers Licence after the week was completed.

The guys that were on the Comp Crew course got a nice RYA log book that they are using to fill in courses, distances etc – is it possible to purchase one of these even though I didn’t do the comp crew course?
